Maxine Horne is a strong and passionate business leader, with a reputation built on the strength of her values and her enthusiasm for everything she does. The founder of FoneZone and now the CEO of Vita Group – she has driven the growth of the organisation from one Gold Coast phone shop to a national, publicly listed company generating $435 million in FY2013.

She is an accomplished public speaker who engages her audience with her “vibe” and quick wit. Known for her leadership skills, she received the President’s Award at the NSW ARA Awards for excellence and was named 2006 QBR Business Woman of the Year (Retail).

In the last 20 years of building her business to what it is today, Maxine has seen the ups and downs of the retail sector and has weathered the storms of the telecommunications and computing industries. She’s learnt about business from the ground up and it’s this business acumen that has created one of Australia’s fastest growing companies, listed for four consecutive years in BRW’s Fast 100.
